Could be #1, Van Zant's grungy southern vocals are, in my opinion, more desired than Plant's.

Has everything you would want in a song.
Lynyrd Skynyrd (Simple Man, Gimme Three Steps, Tuesday's Gone, and The Needle And The Spoon) wrap up the best true American band in the 70's.
