Another one of those tunes that I strongly identify with. Afternoon AM radio, especially car radios.

One of the greatest instrumentals of the decade. Out of all the songs on this list, this is THE one that makes me feel like I'm back in 70's.
- 8. Nights On Broadway by The Bee Gees
Don't remember this one being played on the radio, however, I discovered it on a greatest hits CD. Awesome song; if not for 'Saturday Night Fever' this would be the one the Bee Gees would be remembered for....at least I think so.

Automatically takes me back to the 70's, especially going for drives in Dad's car with the AM radio on.

I was born the year this song was released and I've been an Elton John fan since the late 70's.
Like most people, it's hard to just pick 10 songs as there were so many good ones from that era. Other strong favorites that I left out include: Wasted Days And Wasted Nights (Freddy Fender); Love Is In The Air (John Paul Young); and You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine (Lou Rawls). It's pretty apparent that AM radio was a big influence in my musical tastes and I wouldn't have it any other way.
