Gay Blitzkreig. Unearth this song and check out the lyrics. Vary risque for the 70's.

By: Scott
- 10. Layla by Eric Clapton
At the Rainbow Palace, this song was UNBELIEVABLE. It has my favorite guitar riff of all time and not to mention a decent solo as well. Can really get the blood flowing.
- 9. Brain Damage/Eclipse by Pink Floyd
This is really just one song, I don't care what the album says. Another psychedelic Pink Floyd song that is kind of creepy. You really have to understand Pink Floyd before you can enjoy the song fully.
- 8. Don't Stop Believin' by Journey
Possibly has the best under 20 second guitar solo ever made. Beyond that, it is the signature song of a really underrated band. Always seems to pump me up for some reason...
- 7. Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
The second most requested song ever. The effects in this song are absolutely incredible. And, oh yeah, it has one of the best solos in the history of humankind.
- 6. Baba 'O Reilly by The Who
This song has everything. The trademark Who guitar and vocals, and the greatest opening of any song ever made. No, you noobs, this is not called "Teenage Wasteland"

Everyone on the planet knows this song. Was my favorite song for quite a while. Welcome to the hotel california... man this song can really help you relax at the end of a long day.

Can anyone argue that this isn't one of the greatest songs ever made? Roger Waters really outdid himself on this song. So many metaphors and messages! But really, really great music as well.
- 3. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
I wasn't a huge Queen fan, but this song truly got me hooked after hearing it on the radio one day. It has one of the most recognizable bridges ever made. Bismillah, no! We will not let you go! Awesome.
- 2. 2112 by Rush
Unfortunately, this awesome song isn't on too many lists. For those of you who haven't listened to this song, I pity you. Go out and buy 2112 and induldge in the greatest 20:33 of your life.
- 1. Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
This has got to be one of the most pschedelic songs of all time. Forgetting that, it also has one of the best solos ever, not to mention the usual incredible Floyd bass and lyrics.
It's easy to tell that my favorite band is Pink Floyd. They are the best band of all time, and it isn't close. People will think I'm crazy because Stairway To Heaven (or any Zeppelin) isn't on the list. I think that Stairway To Heaven is the most overrated song ever made, and Zeppelin's best is Immigrant Song. I prefer softer rock to Metallica and Judas Priest style music, so not everyone will agree with my list. But listen to these 10 songs, and you'll agree with me.
