I love the percussion in this one. Also, you can't go wrong with a band whose name was inspired by a railroad (Grand Trunk Western).

I should probably have this one higher. It's art.

Punk music at it's finest.

A hard rock band that incorporates the flute gets my vote.

Great great album (Quadrophenia), and the song is a high point.

- 5. Famous Blue Raincoat by Leonard Cohen
Acoustic, soft, slow, pretty? I LIKE!

Best David Bowie. Like most of the other songs from Hunky Dory, it's got such an incredible chorus that takes the listener up and down and just close your eyes and cream your pants.
- 3. Shine A Light by The Rolling Stones
Best Stones. Bar None, not Satisfaction, not Brown Sugar, not even Sympathy for the Devil takes me on a ride like "Shine a Light."
- 2. In The Light by Led Zeppelin
I'm a big fan of Led Zeppelin, but I've listened to them for a long time, and I have a pretty good idea of what songs I won't wear out after repeated listenings. I still like Stairway to Heaven plenty, but that song doesn't need any more recognition, this one does.
- 1. Shelter From The Storm by Bob Dylan
This song just brings back so many memories I don't feel right putting it below anything. Wonderful song, subtle melody. It's pretty, but not over-catchy so I've never gotten tired of it.
