- 10. Taxi Driver
Very Disturbing to watch this...demoralizing actually.
- 9. Chinatown
A Nicholson classic.
- 8. The Warriors
A powerful movie (especially if you are a young Bruce Lee wannabe) This was the first movie to my knowledge where fistfights and brawls broke out in the movie theatre parking lot. 'Nuff said!!
- 7. The French Connection
Watching this movie is like going back in time. The cinematography is breathtaking. It is amazing to watch this gritty and semi-realistic movie about New York City in the early seventies.
- 6. Animal House
Still one of the funniest movies of all times.
- 5. Apocalypse Now
I liked the original better than the director's version, although I somewhat agree with Copola's political view.
- 4. Alien
Half way through this movie, I realized I had been sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. This movie was the definition of "suspense." Watching that thing burst out of this guy's lungs was also one of the greatest gross outs of all times.
- 3. The Godfather
Everybody was talking about this movie when it came out, like Jaws and Star Wars.
- 2. Jaws
A modern version of Moby Dick, but better
- 1. Star Wars
I wish I could find a version of this that wasn't digitally remastered. I mean, why in the *#!@ would someone want to change one of the greatest movis of all times. I don't want to watch some stupid special effects that were added in the 90s. It is like digitally enhancing an original Picasso. What the HECK!!!!
