Description
Whirly Wheelers contained a large yellow plastic, cycle track. On which you placed 4 magnetic cyclists. You then set the lap counter to the number of laps you wished to race and bet on the outcome. The racers legs actully moved as the cycles went around. And the winner race was random. The toy was by MB Games and use 4 C size bateries. Great fun.

I opened Whirly Wheelers christmas afternoon in the 1970's, a present from my grandparents, by Boxing day all the adults had taken over and i did'nt get a look in! Such a great game for all ages!
I would love to buy one of these for my grandson,as my son had one in the 70,s and we have lovely memories of it!Anyone know where I can buy it?

I remember getting this for christmas, and when the nans grandads, autnies and uncles came around boxing day it replaced the annual 'newmarket' card game which was some feat but i also remember money changing hands as the adults were betting on the outcomes. I'd love to get one if anyone knows where i can ????

i got 1 for christmas wen i was 7 i am now 43 and i still have it and it works like the day i first got it brill game.
we had this as kids, we got it for christmas, the whole family played it, it always came out at christmas, cant believe we got rid of it!

My dad has just given me a whirly wheelers game which has been in the loft for over 25 years. The box isn't int he best condition, tears on it and so fourth, but the actual game is in good condition. Just put batteries in and away it went, all the cyclists work, the magnets work and I have just cleaned the game up. If anyone wants one, the contact me, wainandtwells@aol.com.

I had this cycling game around 1977. I looked after it and kept it in mint condition. Then my mum thought I was too old for it and we sold it at a jumble sale a few years later.. I would love to own one again especially now I have two very young boys who would love it. I would pay a good price for one in mint condition. A tough find in mint condition. eBay has only an incomplete Whirly Wheeler set (instructions and other pieces missing) from 1977, selling for $87USD plus $20USD shipping. Paitoy, a British toy company (merged with American General Mills) developed it. Palitoy started before the First World War, and was independent for nearly 60 years (General Mills acquired in 1968).
Bought this game in November last year ,won a few quid on it on newyears Eve ,totally random.
