Chrissy's best friend, was a cute little blonde that I remember pulling her hair out of her head giving her hair a perfect style. Chrissy wore an orange dress, velvet wore a purple dress.

I had a Velvet doll and my sister had Crissy. I guess Velvet was Crissy's little sister or something. I loved making her hair longer and shorter.
I also had a Crissy doll and my little sister got Crissy's sister Velvet. I remember being jealous as I felt that Velvet was prettier with her blond hair and dark velvet dress- both dolls had the hair that could be pulled out longer and then retracted by a button on their belly..i think?
I still have my Velvet doll, altho she is just about 40 years old now. Her hair has been cut, I "drew" dot earrings on, I lost her shoes, but I still have her in that purple dress!
iam 44 years old and i had a velvet doll. i still have her in perfect condition with her purple dress and purple plastic shoes and her hair still goes long and short.
I had a Crissy doll, and the girl across the street had her little sister. "she's the one I really wanted" She did have a purple velvet dress, but I beleive her name is "Violet". I remember this, because I was so jealous, and thought she was prettier, and wanted her badly
I loved my Velvet doll. I thought she was much prettier than Chrissy. Then Mia came out with the long dark hair and I had to buy one. My sister and I would save money so we could buy these dolls. My best friend always had the newest and best of everything, we couldn't keep up with her! lol
I still have my Velvet and Cricket dolls, I am just hoping to make some money of these girls with holes in their heads, I wonder if I have one in mine
I still have my Velvet doll fully intact and working with the box. I have had her around 45yrs or longer. Just seeing her picture on the puter makes my want to go get her and play with her again. My friend had the chrissy doll.
