I too had a sneezing doll and I loved her. I did some "research" and found that her name is Bless You Baby Tender Love and she was made by Mattel in 1974. Hope that helps anyone looking for one!

My sister received this doll for Christmas. We lived in a high rise in NYC. When my other sister threw away some papers in the incinerator, she included Kathy's doll. I remember she cried for days and my dad could not find another. We are now 37 and 38 yrs old and I would love to find this adorable doll for her
I got this doll when I was probably about 2. She was one of my first baby dolls. I remember I called her "baby achoo". I loved watching her head tip back when she sneezed. I think she may still be in my parents attic. I never knew what her real name was until I found this site.

My mother passed away December 8, 1974. My little sister had asked Santa for a baby tender love doll that year. My mother had purchased and wrapped it before her unexpected passing. The first time I heard my sister laugh after my mom died was that Christmas morning when she opened the doll from Santa. (The hand writing on the card was my mother's) My father remarried a few years later and his wife sold the doll in garage sale. My sister was heart broken. I have been looking for one ever since.
I bought this doll last year on Ebay. She is mint and new in the box, hair netting intact. I also owned this doll as a child and I'm glad I bought it. She was pricey, but worth it!

I still have my "baby sneezey" I got her for my 3rd Christmas. When I moved out of my parents home when I got married I left a box of childhood memories there. Well years have passed and on mu daughters 3rd birthday my Dad gave a special unforseen bag to my daughter. I was brought to years we now have "baby sneezey" back for us both to love. I have had my Bless you baby since I was two. I loved her. My mom made all kinds of beautiful clothes for her. I am actually considering letting her go.
I had this doll as a 7 or 8 year old and one fourth of July I was playing with her outside when my parents came out to take us and some neighborhood kids to see fireworks. In the car I realized I'd left Baby Tender Love outside and panicked. One of the neighbor boys, about 14 at the time, rolled his eyes and said "Listen, if someone steals your Baby Achoo dolly, the rest of us will all chip in and buy you ten new dollies." To this day, that's a classic line that someone inevitably brings up when we talk about the old neighborhood kids :)
I have one of these dolls. My daughter saved it from a yardsale. After some research I discovered who she is. Her hair is rough and she doesn't have her original clothes or anything, but if anyone is looking for one and would be interested in loving her and fixing her up they can email me.
