Description
this was a really neat cube and one each face it had a different color, and each face had a grid of 9 squares. this can be turned in any direction and you mix up the colors and try to make each face one color again. Very interesting and it provided hours of fun (for me at least)

This one has seen a comeback and still keeps me busy! Not a speedcuber by any means but can get one done in about 20 mins. Have worn a few out. Got my first as a hospital gift from my Dad when I was in for some tooth work, kept me occupied the whole time. Cheers, Dad.
One of my friends at school is good at solving this. Also, I have 2 of these, but I can't solve them.
Got an ORIGINAL one of these when it first came out. Before it was produced in the US, this was from Hungary. Called a "magic cube". Didn't hold up very well. "Games of Berkeley" got them in - imported and expensive. Within a few months, the mass produced ones were everywhere.
The Rubik's Cube was 1980, not 1970s. Before that there was the obscure Magic Cube, in Hungary. Rubik's Cube was a re-named, re-manufactured version of that. The Rubik's Cube celebrated 25 years in 2005 with a special edition, 1980-2005 Cube.
Rubik's cube was from the 80s NOT the 70s.
