Description
A miniature pool table with a "pool cue" on one end of the table that was attached to the table. You would turn it around to the shot you wanted, and push back the "cue", it had 3 or 4 different pressure points you could choose, and then you'd push the trigger down and the cue would shoot the cue ball. It was a great game.

I am 47.Always wanted pivot pool when it came out.Just got one at the flea market today.I was going to offer 10.00 for it and the man gave it to me for free!It is missing a ball but my io year old daughter have been playing it for the past three hours.No batteries,doesnt have to be hooked to a t.v. or computer.They dont make games like this anymore.It will be really great when I get a replacement ball.
UPDATE:found missing ball in back seat of car.That means that a complete game was free.Original box,instructions and box with the original bradlees stickers.Also meant to write that my 10 year old daughter and I have been playing for the past three hours.Just a typing error

I had a pivot pool game when I was a kid. My house burned in '92 and looked for one after that. I found one on Ebay several years ago, now my son who is 2 loves playing with it. We sit in the floor and play for hours. I have the original box and all. Cool thing about this toy: MADE IN THE USA

I remember the original TV commercial had Lucille Ball in it with her bathing suit, towel, etc. asking where the pool was. Then she learned it wasn't that kind of pool. Anyone else remember that? I got one for Christmas and played it so often that the numbers started wearing off the balls. Then it sat under my bed for years until we gave it away.
I had bought a Pivot Pool for my kids in the seventies and had it for many years. We finally gave it away. Now 30 years later my friend just found one for my grandson at Goodwill in great shape and she ordered the balls off ebay and now he has a complete set and he loves it.

Strange, Ted. YouTube has no Pivot Pool commercial (1973). Has, though, Pivot Golf (1974) with Lucy (in costume from her film, "Mame"), along with Body Language (1973). Pivot Pool may be on one of the compilation DVDs with vintage commercials. Milton Bradley paid her a bundle to endorse these games.
