Description
The plastic box with clear face on it. You would shoot at the targets inside with pellets that were magnetized by the gun. Eventually, the screen would be scratched to the point where the targets were barely visible.

Bought one used from a friend when we were still in the 70's. Very cool game, and challenging. the gun was molded blue platic. The magnetic bit would be pulled back into the barrel of the gun while one pulled back on the trigger, and when the trigger was pulled all the way back, a spring would pop the magnet forward with a fair amount of force. As an experiment I tested the amount of force against one of my front teeth. Needless to say, I didn't try that particular experiment again. No tooth loss thankfully but let's just say I found reason to use all the new adult words I had learned recently.

This was a safe target practice type toy, all enclosed except for the gun. It had little bb's inside. You can still find them on eBay or you can buy the new version which takes batteries and has some loud, gaudy carnival type music and the targets rotate. It can be used with or without the batteries.

I remember having one as a child, looking for one lately. Ah, the days before not having to worry about batteries.
