A doll that sat at a desk and held onto a pen and you sat at the other side of the desk and as you wrote something with your pen Katy would write the same thing with her pen

anyone know where i can buy katy copycat from?
you can get one from e bay i purchased one but its very difficult to get her with the desk, keep searching though and you may come accross one.

Oh My God! This doll was my all-time FAVORITE toy when I was little. I got one for X-mas, and I actually cried when I opened it!!! I can't believe I found it!! I've been looking for it all over the internet, but had forgotten the name. THANKS SO MUCH!!

I still have the doll minus clothes and the desk which is in full working order apart from the plastic bit Katie's pen went into. Was going to sell it to raise money for my daughter's 18th but surprisingly no-one seems to want it on ebay!

Katy was my favourite doll growing up, but she was played with so much she finally broke, even after mums many attempts to glue her back together. Recently I found another one in mint condition in the box with the desk and paper, pens the lot, so keep looking gals they turn up, ebay U.K is the best bet.
katy copycat was my favorite doll from my childhood. I bought her again on Ebay complete with desk, for £10.00 so if you think selling her will make you a lot of money sadly it won't.
I am really pleased to have her back again and i am 45 lol.

I have a Katie kopycat that is,I'll be honest, in pretty bad shape and needs a good home, maybe with someone who will put the money into having her restored. She is missing her original clothes, has pen marks on face, and trimmed hair. She neds new hair plugs and a face repaint from a professional who can bleach out the pen and re-colour her. I'll give her to a good home for free.

I have a Katie Copycat that is in need of a good cleaning and some new hair plugs. I'd pay a doll shop to do it if I were interested in keeping her, but I'm not, so she is offered as is. I have one, with doll,desk, original clothes, even the instructions and original paper (I see 1974 written on some!). No pens though. Everything's in the original box - but there is some damp marks on that. I loved this toy! No storage space now so it's time for her to find a new home.
