Description
gnip gnop was a two player game which you tryed to get all of your color balls on the other persons side of the game box. It had a clear plastic cover and three hole between the two side you had to pop through the holes. kind of hard to explain. it was one of my favorite games of the 70's

lets start a gnip gnop tourament! winners could get prizes from the 70's-like toys,clothing,fondue sets,dvds of 70' programming etc! all found on the internet! other tournaments:mousetrap;dont break the ice;battleship;kerplunk;spinning battling tops,stratego;cooties;trouble;operation;mystery date!what a blast we'd have huh!? we could play 45's on the close n play-eat hot dogs w/weiner wraps-space food sticks-koogle-and freakies cereal!!!

guess what my husband got me for christmas? a GNIP GNOP game! he ordered it from the vermont country store or the what on earth catalog-he also got me some "gee your hair smells terrific" shampoo and a couple of giant size bonne bell lip smackers (they were as big as a roll of nickles in the mid-70's)1 watermelon flavor and 1 dr. pepper flavor-much better than the now chapstick size ones.my husband and i will now have our own tournament,he rocks! i still love u guys,happy new year and check out those 2 catalogs they are FULL of 70's stuff!
I had gnip-gnop, my hubby thinks I am funny when Im talk about it. He doesn't remember it. It was fun!
Kids recieved it from Santa for Christmas 2009...they love it.

We just bought a new version of the Gnip Gnop game from Toys R Us. about 3 years ago.
I loved playing this game...only as an adult did I realize that the name was "ping-pong" written in reverse!
