Those things were deadly but fun.

i have one of these clackers-i found one at a antique store.it was a metal ring w/2 strings hanging off of it-at the end of each string was a hard acryllic ball about the size of a golf ball only a little bigger.you put you finger in the metal ring and slowly moved it up and down so the balls clakced together as you built up speed the ywould repel farthe from each other in an upward arcing motion until they clacked on the bottom then arced all the way to the top and clacked again.creating a circle-where the ring was in the middle and the balls clacked bottom of circle then arced and clacked on top.they were taken off the market because gangs were using them by swinging them then letting loose-or kids were getting hurt as they shaterred or injured themselves when getting a repetitave speed.the goal was to see how long and fast you could do it.

I loved my click-clacks! It was one of the few things that I could do better than my older brother!
