true to its name it was a mini safe and came with a fur stole and jewels for barbie you closed the safe and there was a painting of barbie that flipped over the front to hide the fact that it was a safe .. i believe it also had an alarm for all those pesky pint sized jewel theifs ..lol

I still have this! Unfortunately is is three states away at my parents or I wouls post a photo. The photo is a close up of superstar Barbie I think. There was an alarm and a combination lock inside. You had to spell out B-A-R-B-I-E to open it. On closer inspection, you just had to turn it to the E to open. lol
I just picked one of these up today and thanks to your clue had it open. Fun ! I graduated in 1978 so it's a bit young but still brings a smile to my face.
