The pants actually had regular legs to them but were open at the upper side-seams where large pieces of fabric from the back would then be wrapped around to the front and tied at the waist. They were cute but mostly made of a gauzy fabric that was a pain to iron decently. They were great to wear over your swimsuits though. I had them in white and they came as a set with a gypsy-type top that matched (elastic neckline that could be worn off the shoulders or not and an elasticed waist too.) Wrap skirts were popular and easy to wear though not on a windy day!
