Actually, the Curly Whirly (or Wurley?) bar is a close approximation of a Wig Wag bar, but there are differences. The CW is much shorter than a WW, and the caramel/toffee is firmer/chewier (so the chocolate coating does not flake off as easily), but the braided shape is identical. As for taste, well it has been maybe 25 yrs since I have had a Wig Wag bar but the Curly Whirly is very tasty! You can easily get them at The Candy Bouquet on Water St in St. John's, Newfoundland. About $1.50 each. Yum!
