Found two more Bugles TV commercials, both animated cartoons. First, one that re-enacts Custer's last stand (this would be unacceptable today). As the cavalry and American Indians start fighting, a bugler boy offers both sides Bugles snacks. This ends the fighting. Aired on the "Monkees" show (3/4/68, NBC). Second commercial features two kids, around eight years old. A girl tries to get a boy's attention with a bag of Bugles. The boy wants the Bugles, but not the girl. The girl pushes him off the stool they were sharing. She finishes the Bugles herself. Did not see this on TV before.
