The way I remember it, Bugles, Flings and Corkscrews (or something close to that) came out at the same time in the 60s. They came in boxes (like ceral boxes) and the package inside was foil. Flings were a tasty cheese curl -- my favorite. The little corkscrews were similar to Fritos and were good for dipping. Bugles were Bugles. My favorite way to eat them was to get a can of processed cheese and squirt each little horn full of cheese and then eat it. Yum!
