When you watch today's Wendy TV commercials, don't let the cartoon girl's smiley face fool you. Subliminal message: If you don't own a vehicle, your business isn't welcome. Since my town officially 'reopened" in late May, both Wendy stores still are locked up, only the drive thru open (similar situation with Hardees, some McDonald's, KFC and BK's). While I love supporting my local businesses in this day, being shut out, when reasonable social-distance tactics can be employed, without standing in between cars waiting to order. Yay to Pizza Hut: Fully open, including indoor dining.
