Yes, Wampums were better than the Fritos. My mom always packed Wampum in my lunch and they were always the best part (unless a Hostess Cupcake was also in there). Talking 1958-64 here. Encouraging to hear that Trader Joes has something similar but I'll wait for the calorie free version to be invented. :)
