I began collecting Wacky PAckages around 1973, right before the second series came out. I was lucky enough to get some first series cards, as well. As a kid, though, I had no idea what some of the products being parodied were until I grew up. Like you, I did not get the Lavirus one, or the Mutt's Apple Juice, Boo Hoo or Mighty-Fink or Fink (evidently a parody of a grapefruit drink called Wink). A lot of these were off the market long before I grew up and began caring one way or the other. But, they are preserved forever in the collections of Wacky Package freaks around the globe (both of us).
