I grew up just north of Toronto, and my ended up with the odd toy from my more fortunate neighbors. Pieces of the Upsie Downsie world I still have. The little green fence, a car that has a scary boy face on one side and a happy girl face on the opposite, a purple dude with hands growing out of his head (to stand on of course), and a purple weird kind of dino-creature. When I find come across these toys I smile, and remember how simple things used to be. Glad I kept them.
