Creation of Fuzzy Felt was the brainchild of Lois Allan, a resident of Huntington (some 80 mi. north of London). She worked in a defense plant, and was issued the material for making the gaskets. She loved making toys for children, and was inspired by the many possible uses for the material. Sales of Fuzzy Felt toy sets were astonishing. New toy products (beyond the Colorform-type ones) in the early 1970s, and marketing expanded outside the UK. If you do a Google search, you'll find pictures of the different toys produced, and what is currently for sale.
