Chaz: This is an oldie from around 1960. Moon Rocks set by Hasbro. Came with moon landscape, pre-tumbled little rocks you'd water (with color dye) and they grow. Little toy rocket ships also included to complete the scene. TV star Art Linkletter is pictured. I believe he developed this toy. He promoted it on his TV shows, "House Party" and "People Are Funny." In later years, mail-order novelty companies like Honor House (originator of Sea Monkeys) offered similar items, closer to when Apollo XI landed on the moon in 1969. These were frequently advertised in comic books such as Archie series.
