I would not call this a toy, maybe science learning tool. About 1955-56 or so I had a rectangular piece of wood. It was perhaps 1' square and about 5' long.It was hand made. It was carved in such a way that it had an angle maybe 45 degrees carved in it. Well naturally it did not balance on the tip of your finger. You would then bet your friend that you could. You would then take off your belt and place it in the angled part of the wood and then it will balance easily on the tip of your finger. I believe it was to demonstrate the center of gravity, as the buckle and the tip of the belt swung down and back under your extended finger. This was a long time ago and I'am almost 70 and my memory is not the best.I don't even remember where I got It, but folks:IT REALLY REALLY WORKS.
