CBhappygirl - Thanks, but no. The one I'm thinking of has the target stands and the gun connected by about 3 feet of vinyl(?) tubing (about 6 of them joined together) under a connecting "C" shaped piece of plastic (open end down). When you lined up on the target and pulled the trigger the gun would send a pulse of air down the appropriate tube and activate a piston/plunger that would then knock over the target. The targets were various items but the only one I distinctly remember were plastic "tin" cans.
