Comments left:	I am trying to figure and out hopefully find a toy I had in 1978. It was hand held. Octogon shaped, and flat like a thin compact. It contained a heat sensitive color changing fluid and when you pressed or rubbed on the back the front clear plastic allowed you to see the color changes. Think mood ring type color changes. I was at the Exploratorium recently and they had an exhibit much like this item and my children loved it. I remember playing with the color changes for hours on end. I want to say it was called a widget but I have searched with no luck. Can anyone help? I have read the other posts, sorry I can't help anyone else.
