Comments left:	when i was small (mid 80's), i had an old "fashion plate" type toy (a garage sale find even then) that i CANNOT remember the name of. I believe it was from the 70's. it was a doll body & a plate that closed over it. the plate had the shape of the doll body cut out, and you could lay scraps of fabric over the dolls body & close the plate to make her new outfits. i remember spending hours with bits of material making different "clothes". i want to say it was a barbie, but i could be off there. it was not the actual "fashion plates" toys that you color... you just use fabric scraps. i think my daughter would love it & i am sad i don't still have it somewhere. anyone know what it's called? my google-fu is failing me.
