On the Chicago scene. The Libby Land Sundown Supper (double hamburger) TV dinner commercial. Mean Gene hits Libby the Kid's balloon with paper airplanes. In November, 1973, this aired during "Ozzie's Girls" on WMAQ, Channel 5. In this 24-episode sitcom, Ozzie and Harriet Nelson take in two college girls as boarders (renting David and Rick's old room). One, a neat-freak black girl (Brenda Sykes). The other, a hippie-like, free spirited white girl (Susan Sennett). They become good friends despite personality differences. David Nelson assisted with production in this syndicated, pleasant show that none of the networks wanted (another example was "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" cartoon). Ozzie died a year after show ended production.
