* I'm trying to remember the name of the chewing gum that was marketed to kids in the early 1970s, whose gimmick was: "IT TASTES LIKE ICE CREAM!" And @ "nerfy" - yeah, I occasionally find myself wondering about "Chipos" myself... I'd liked the "gimmick" (sold in "boxes" instead of bags, with the cartoon of the "cook" on the back of the package working an processing line where the chips were being "flash fried" with "lightning bolts"), but even more surprising I'd liked those funky chips themselves, which were truly horrid, but perhaps the "newness" and quirkiness is more of what got me hooked.
