i also remember tuna twist, and recalled as a kid, my mom made me tuna twist and i loved it! i was disappointed when it was no longer available. one day i was thinking about it, wanting to make my tuna different, and today i think i managed to pull off a tuna salad recipe similar to what i remember the tuna twist taking like... i used 4 cans of tuna (in water, drained), chopped green onion (3-4 stalks), chopped red onion (about 1/2 cup), one stalk of celery (sliced & diced), 1 tsp garlic salt, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/3 of a RED bell pepper (diced), 5 boiled eggs (i remove my yolks as a personal preference), a couple tablespoons of sweet relish and a couple spoons of mayo as needed to mix. however, i am only guessitmating on how much garlic powder and salt i used, it was about that much really. good luck, let me know if you try it, we all could come up with our own recipe for it. :)
