From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, a "Batman" parody with The Rabbit as a fake superhero with ulterior motives like swiping Trix from the kids, who dress as villains to fend him off. SILLY RABBIT! This aired during "The Beagles" (NOT Beatles) cartoon show on CBS (5/13/67). Nestle Quik, Mister Bubble and Topper Toys among other sponsors. Network promos for "Lost In Space" and "Tom & Jerry." The "Beagles" show was hard to watch, as the network only showed one part of each two to four part story a week. The series finale on air was "I Feel Like Humpty Dumpty." Scotty (Kenny Delmar), the manager has musicians Stringer (Mort Marshall) and Tubby (Allen Swift) roll off the top of a building in egg costumes to promote the new song. Filler cartoons included "Go-Go Gophers" plus "Klondike Cat" and "Commander McBragg." Columbia Records released a "Beagles" album with ten songs, now worth $hundreds on the collectible market.
