From the Sunday morning cartoon vault, the Rabbit joins kids for trick-or-treats. One parent gives kids small sample boxes of Trix. When it's the Rabbit's turn, he gets a rock. The kids behind him say, "Silly Rabbit!" This aired during the "Beatles" cartoon show on ABC (10/22/68). By this time, the "Beatles" show was all reruns and destined for cancellation in 1969. Advertising demand was way down from the initial 1965 run, plus the former Number One Saturday show was relegated to Sunday. Other commercials for Cocoa Puffs with Sonny and Gramps (Chuck McCann), plus Cheerios with the Kid and sister Sue and Major Matt Mason playset by Mattel. Network promos for "King Kong" cartoon plus Linus the Lionhearted" and "George of the Jungle."
