Comments left:	Oh wow, this page is insane. I thought I was the only one who loved Nabisco Apple Toastettes. They were my favorite food as a kid, without a doubt. Then they disappeared and I thought someday like Howard Hughes I would pay Nabisco to fire up the oven and make a minimum order for me, probably around 50,000 toastettes. (I will happily share if that ever happens) Here's the funny thing. I grew up in NYC where I was well-known through college when they were starting to phase them out. Friends would send them to me when they found them in upstate NY chain stores (around '83). Then they disappeared. :( Then, in 1991, working in LA, I just happened upon some in a 99 cent type store in LA - I just ... saw them there ... and I bought them ALL!! And I ate them for weeks. Who knows if they were years old, they tasted fine. Just as I remembered. I made them last as long as I could and then they were gone again ... I will visit the Nabisco site ...
