I remember getting one of these babies for Christmas 1973. We lived in the country and had a gravel road. I believe the Cheetah needed a hard flat surface such as a concrete sidewalk or safely controlled stretch of asphalt street to properly show it's potential. Nonetheless, my brother and I rode our toys in the yard and on the gravel road with limited success but I loved my Cheetah. My brother got some other 3-wheeled toy with a gear shifter and different gears. I have often thought of my Cheetah and wondered what ever happened to them. Eventually I remember the little plastic strip connecting the pedals to the drive mechanism broke, rendering my Cheetah incapable of independent locomotion. It found it's way into the trash heap after less than a year of fun...
