Comments left:	Yes, Lea!! you are absolutely right!! The "zesty taco" of today is NOT like "original taco" from the 1970's. Original taco just is not made the same way by Frito Lay...I have called them many times and I have NEVER gotten a straight answer from them as to why they changed the recipe (for the worse)!! Today's taco is full of bogus, nasty cheese flavor, too much sugar, sour cream and artificial colors and preservatives. The original taco doritos had no artificial anything...just pure, delicious spices!! Also, I remember the underlying corn flavor of the taco chips to be more robust, and the chips seemed more like authentic corn, not the thin, soft, flaky chips of today!! Please let me know if others out there remember these same things from the 1970's original taco doritos??
