Comments left:	May 20, 2019 I just made an Applesauce Raisin & Nut spice cake I found on line from JustAPinch (.COM) /recipes/dessert/cake/applesauce-raisin-nut-spice-cake and it definitely reminds me of these twin cakes that my parents use to put in my school lunch box every day in the 70's. However, I did NOT add the 1 cup chopped walnuts, NOR did I do the Rum Glaze topping so I did not put them in the list below. Ingredients 3 c flour 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp allspice, ground 2 stick butter, softened 1 c brown sugar 1 c sugar 1 egg 2 c applesauce unsweetened 1 c raisins Bake at 350F for approx 60-70 minutes for a bundt pan until toothpick comes out clean, then let cool in pan. I soaked the raisins in the applesauce to hydrate them for a couple of hours. I am going to try to make them as cupcakes next, now that I realize they remind me of the Stroehmann's apple sauce cakes from the 70's. Good Luck! I enjoyed it!
