Comments left:	Found a recipe that is almost exactly the same taste! 1/2 cup shortening 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 cups sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon allspice 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup milk 2 eggs 2 cups applesauce raisins mix flour and shortening together mix sugar, salt, soda, powder, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg together add spices to flour mixture gradually, add milk and applesauce, mix well, fold in raisins. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. This recipe is so close!!! I love it!!
