My father was also a marketing manager working for Reuben H. Donnelly company in Philadelphia and got me a summer job wourking out of hte Cananda Dry plant in northeast Philly giving out free samples. I rode around in one of the trucks with the bottle on top and we would set up at shopping centers where big chain grocery stores were and hand out free samples and coupons. Towards the end of the summer we we hitting the mom&pop stores all over the metropolitan area and in some pretty rough neighborhoods but it was a great experience. And it actually did taste pretty good.
