Based on a long ago memory, I recently had a hankering for this but couldn't remember the name. I searched the pudding section grocery store in vain, and finally googled "pudding with hard chocolate topping" and came across this site - at least I now know I didn't hallucinate this! Given the enthusiasm here, and my fond memories of the short time period my mom used to make Spoon Candy, it seems odd it was ever discontinued.
