Comments left:	I was back in my hometown, eating dinner with my father and step-mum last night when suddenly I remembered a dessert from my youth that was all creamy and peanut-buttery with a hard chocolate top. I tried to describe it to my Dad who is 83 now, but he looked at me as if I were half-mad. A half hour later the words "Spoon Candy" emerged from my deep, deep memory banks. I blurted it out, a non sequitur to the conversation at hand. This brought a tad more reaction from my Dad. Happily the internet brings back nearly all 70s memories and I found this site. It was a fine, fine dessert. Happy to find others who recall it as well!!
