Through trial & error we should all be able to recreate this wonderful treat. Here's my latest attempt at Peanut Butter Spoon Candy: Mix 1 3.4 oz. box of Jell-O instant vanilla pudding with 1 1/2 cups 2% milk, 1/2 cup whipping cream, 4 T of creamy peanut butter (slightly warmed in the microwave 20-30 seconds-stir to smooth) Mix with beater for 2-3 min. Pour into ramekins and refrigerate. For topping I use a simple ganache. Bring 1/4 cup whipping cream to a boil in microwave add 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks and let rest for 2-3 minutes then stir until smooth, pour over pudding mixture and chill until set. You can use semi-sweet, milk, or dark chocolate depending on your preference. Doesn't quite have the crack on top as I remember-but it's pretty simple and the taste is close! I think I will put in a Brady Bunch DVD and have some Spoon Candy!
