I googled Spoon Candy on a whim today and can't believe what I'm seeing! I tried explaining it to my husband and he'd never had it. It was my favorite dessert and I never understood why it went away. Intersting to read the reason was the sugar cost/embargo. Shaun Partridge - you are the envy of all Spoon Candy lovers! To have an original box and experience the bliss 20 years after it was discontinued! Unfortunately, we all know if Jello did decide to bring it back, the recipe would be altered and it would never quite match the wonderful memories we all have.
