The ones Mom would purchase for us were the sheets of plastic. We'd trace the pictures from the funny papers or comic books. I remember having contests where my brother and I would see who could make the smallest ones. Also if one put in a full sheet, it really didn't come out as a smaller version of the sheet, it kind of folded in on itself and made a mess. According to Mom, these weren't cheap either, so my experiment was not appreciated that day... :o)
