Comments left:	These suits were still extremely popular in 90's and the 2000's decades. I remember wearing these to school when I was a kid. I was a kid that didn't wear jeans and my parents sent me to school in a shellsuit and a tee shirt when the fall weather arrived. Then as soon the late fall weather hit, my parents made me wear a turtleneck with my shellsuits everyday all through winter. Then when spring hit, I was back in a shellsuit and a tee shirt. My best friend Patti loved to wear turtlenecks and after she saw me coming to school in a shellsuit and turtleneck, she begged her parents to buy her some shellsuits too. And they did. As soon as she got her shellsuits, she wore a dark green suit and a white turtleneck the following day. I remember coming to school that day in a hot pink shellsuit and a white turtleneck. When I arrived at school, Patti came swishing over to me and I was very surprised to see her in a shellsuit. She explained that she wanted to start wearing them because she saw me and our other friends wearing them. She also told her parents that my parents made me wear turtlenecks and shellsuits as soon as the late fall weather hit and all through winter. It turns out her parents called my parents asking them the advantages of them keeping me in shellsuits and turtlenecks everyday. They told them that they were rain proof, wind proof, warm, weren't as hot as sweatpants, could be purchased with or without lining, they were comfortable, and they looked really good on me. My parents told Patti's parents that they loved the turtleneck and shellsuit combo, especially me wearing white turtlenecks with them because they made my shellsuit stand out. Patti revealed that her parents decided that they were going to be keeping her in turtlenecks and shellsuits all through the late fall and winter weather. I warned Patti, that she would be having to listen to the swishy noise the pants made and it could be annoying. But, Patti told me that the swishing sound was her favorite part about wearing a shellsuit and she loved to hear herself swishy. She was really looking forward to us wearing the suits everyday because we could both pick a day to wear our favorite shellsuit on the same day like the other kids in our class did. And she was also looking forward to us being able to walk around school together and us swishing around together.
