From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, a Halloween-themed TV spot for Orange Shasta. Dr. Frankenstein sends his monster to the store for the tasty pop. The monster walks through a door, breaking the glass. As Frankie leaves, the clerk treats him like a normal person. Tom Bosley narrates. This aired on "Saturday Superstar Movie" over ABC (10/28/72). Rankin-Bass's "Red Baron" cartoon featured. Setting was around World War One, and all characters are humanized dogs. The plot made like the Germans as heroes and the British as villainous foes. The Red Baron was a retired pilot called to rescue the German "king's" daughter from her British captors. Voice talent included Allen Swift, Bob McFadden and Brad Bolke (Chumley from "Tennessee Tuxedo" and one of the Ghostly Trio on the 1963 "Casper" cartoon). Funny Face, McDonald's, Cap'n Crunch, Kenner SSP and Honey Comb among other sponsors. Network promo for "Brady Kids" cartoon.
