My friend Robbie's mother bought it once. This was in the summer of 1967, between Grades 4 and 5. He was shaking the cup in the kitchen, and the lid came off. Brown goo all over the ceiling! We laughed ourselves silly. His parents were really nice - I don't think they were even mad. It was The Summer of Love in San Francisco, but in Saskatchewan it was The Summer Of Shake-A-Puddin' On The Ceiling. Fast-forward to today - I told our grandchildren, aged 4 and 2 about this, and my wife put together a facsimile with likely healthier ingredients than the original. Both of the little ones had a Tupperware container with a screw-on lid. We went out on the deck and sang the song and the little ones shook their containers. We all came back in, and they devoured their "Shake-A-Puddin'".
