The early Shake A Pudd'n commercial first aired in 1966. Royal Pudding, makers of it, sort of stole the dance party concept, using younger kids instead of teens. The cups were disposable (wax paper) with flimsy plastic lids and spoons. Another Great Shakes copycat, with a different twist. Commercial aired on the "Milton the Monster" cartoon show (5/13/66, ABC-TV). It also aired on "The Flintstones" that summer, along with Mr. Wiggle gelatin. For those in Chicago, the commercial was reminiscent of "Mulqueens Kiddie A Go Go."
