There were several Scottie's locations in Kentucky. I'm pretty sure it was spelled Scottie's instead of Scotty's. I remember one in Irvine. They were somewhat of a poor man's White Castle before Krystal came to this region. There was a very popular rumor that the burgers were actually made of dog food (probably because they were like 22 cents each back then) and someone had found a bunch of empty dog food cans in the garbage there. I remember those burgers being pretty tasty. So there are some locations remaining in Tennessee? A road trip may be in order; I ate at the last remaining Druther's (formerly Burger Queen) in Campbellsville, Ky. last fall. If anyone can definitely tell me where any locations are currently operating, I'd appreciate an email to me at the user name listed here at gmail dot com to let me know.
